Everton have renewed their interest in Manchester United’s Anthony Elanga.
Elanga was previously on the club’s radar during the January transfer window but a move failed to materialise ahead of a shambolic end to deadline day.
The Sweden international is back on the Blues’ shortlist this summer with Old Trafford chiefs understood to have valued him at between £15M and £20M.
But any deal would need to fall within the financial constraints placed on Sean Dyche’s side by the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability regulations.
Goodison Park chiefs will also face competition for Elanga’s signature from top flight counterparts Nottingham Forest as well as several Bundesliga clubs.
Another target under consideration is Villarreal’s Arnaut Danjuma, who was on the verge of a move to Merseyside in January before making a late U-turn.
A season-long loan deal is the preferred move for the Dutch forward, who spurned the club for Tottenham in the second half of the previous campaign.
Everton finished last season alarmingly light on firepower with Neal Maupay leading the line due to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s persistent fitness issues.
