Goodison honoured in new Everton home kit

Everton’s new 2023/24 home kit celebrates the traditions of Goodison Park.

Sean Dyche’s side will kick off their forthcoming Premier League campaign in the Hummel-made strip which carried various nod to their spiritual home.

However the Blues insist that the kit has not been designed to commemorate Goodison’s final season, with the club set to depart sometime in 2024/25.

A white collar features Archibald Leitch’s famous latticework pattern which can still be seen in the stadium’s Gwladys Street and Bullens Road stands.

The design is also repeated on matching sleeve cuffs while the goalkeeper strip is based on elements from St Luke’s Church, which adjoins Goodison.

Dwight McNeil said: “I like what Hummel have done with the kit, giving it a retro look and bringing elements of Goodison into it that I think fans will really appreciate.

“Goodison – and the fans – are obviously massive to us and I can’t wait to be wearing this shirt when the season kicks off.”

Everton’s 2023/24 home kit is on sale from Thursday, June 29 in men’s, women’s and youth sizes from evertondirect.com and the club’s official stores.

Infant and baby versions can be pre-ordered online and will be available in store from Saturday, July 8.
