Everton fans protest outside Liver Building

Fans have protested against the Everton board at the Liver Building.

Pressure continues to mount on the beleaguered hierarchy after Sean Dyche’s side narrowly preserved their Premier League status for a second season.

Last weekend’s crucial win over Bournemouth saw chants of ‘sack the board’ aired at Goodison Park, where directors have not attended since January.

Changes at boardroom level are expected as part of planned investment by MSP Sports Capital, who are in talks with majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri.

Under the #AllTogetherNow banner, around 100 fans gathered outside the Blues’ headquarters to maintain their opposition to the absentee directors.

“We won’t stop until we get change, rumours are rife [about that],” said Chris Hannon, one of the organisers of Saturday’s demonstration.

“But we will only stand down when the club communicates change has or is happening.

“It is then up to the new board to repair the relationship with fans, which should be a very easy process.”
