Everton defender Djibril Sidibe could be in line for a premature exit in January.
Sidibe arrived at Goodison Park on a season-long loan from Monaco this summer with Marco Silva looking to strengthen his side’s options at right-back.
But so far the France international has failed to dislodge Seamus and made just one Premier League outing for the Blues to date and three in all competitions.
Reports in Italy now suggest that Sidibe might be offered a quick escape from his current nightmare on Merseyside with AC Milan credited with a keen interest.
Tuttosport claim that the 27-year-old is on the Serie A giants’ watch list and are preparing to watch his country’s Euro 2020 qualifier with Turkey on Monday.
Sidibe was part of Didier Deschamps’ side which won the World Cup last year but is not expected to play a starring role in the clash at the Stade de France.
