Everton’s new 2019/20 home kit has taken inspiration from Goodison Park.
Archibald Leitch’s iconic criss-cross latticework in the Bullens Road stand features in the design for the strip that the Blues will wear next season.
Marco Silva’s side are set to wear the new kit for a first time when they take on Kariobangi Sharks for the SportPesa Trophy in Nairobi on Sunday.
The ensemble is completed with white shorts and socks both with a royal blue trium while a familiar ‘EFC’ logo sits at the nape of the shirt’s neck.
“I really like how Umbro have blended a retro feel into a modern kit, and I think the fans will like it, too,” said Everton midfielder Tom Davies.
“The Archibald Leitch design is synonymous with matchdays at Goodison.”

To celebrate the launch of the new strip, Everton and Umbro have also produced St. Domingo, a limited edition shirtzine based on the kit’s ‘Built to Last’ theme.
The magazine is devoted to the new kit and contains interviews with Davies and Richarlison alongside Umbro designer Bryony Coates and lifelong Everton fans.
Only 1,878 first edition copies have been printed. Fans can find out how to get their hands on one through the club’s official website and social media channels.
Robin Dunn, Head of Performance at Umbro UK, said: “We knew we wanted to do something different, distinctive and bold with the main body of the jersey for the 2019-20 season.
“And we really wanted to connect the fans and players through the iconic stadium architecture and the club’s proud history with Umbro as a brand, two things that really feed well into our ‘Built to Last’ theme for the kit launch.
“We hope the new 2019-20 strip will strike a chord with the Goodison faithful and fans further afield to create new and lasting memories both on and off the pitch.”
Supporters can pre-order the new kit from 9am on Thursday, July 4 by going online at evertondirect.com or visiting the Everton One or Everton Two Stores.
The kit will be on sale in stores from Thursday, July 18.
