Everton are reportedly in the hunt for RB Leipzig striker Jean-Kevin Augustin.
Marco Silva is understood to have made signing a front man a priority this summer and the France under-21 international has emerged as a potential target.
Augustin graduated through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain but was a largely peripheral figure in the first-team before joining Leipzig in summer 2017.
He has recorded six goals in 24 appearances this season but enjoyed a more credible debut year where he found the target 12 times in 37 games.
However the Telegraph claim the Blues will face competition for Augustin from Premier League rivals Leicester City, who have also made a tentative enquiry.
The 21-year-old had been tipped to leave Leipzig in January but is certain to depart this summer, with the Bundesliga club set to command a fee of £17.5 million.
Augustin’s prospective move to Goodison Park is expected to spell the end for Cenk Tosun, who has struggled to become a regular starter under Silva.
