A musical based on the music of Take That is coming to Liverpool next year.
‘The Band’ has already become the fastest-selling theatre tour of all time with over £2 million taken in its first two hours of booking lines opening on Monday.
It focuses on what it’s like to grow up with a boy band. For five 16 year-old friends in 1992, when Take That burst onto the scene, ‘the band’ is everything.
The group of friends are reunited 25 years on, as 40-something women, that try once more to fulfil their dream of meeting their heroes.
And the coming-of-age show will be performing on the Liverpool Empire’s stage from January 23 until February 3, 2018.
Five to Five, winners of BBC’s Let It Shine, will play the role of The Bnad while Rachel Lumberg and Faye Christall will play Rachel and Young Rachel respectively.
