Gerard Deulofeu is said to be weighing up whether to leave Everton next month.
The former Barcelona winger has become a firm fans’ favourite across two spells with the Blues but his permanent stint now threatens to be a short-lived one.
Reports in Deulofeu’s native Spain suggest that he is assessing his options after falling out of favour following the appointment of Ronald Koeman as manager.
Since Koeman succeeded Roberto Martinez, the 22-year-old has seen his first-team opportunities limited as he was overlooked for the defeat to Liverpool.
According to sources close to the player, Deulofeu is considering a January exit in his pursuit of regular first-team football away from Goodison Park.
