Liverpool FC target leaves training for talks in England

Liverpool transfer target Neven Subotic has been allowed to stop training so that he can negotiate a contract with a prospective new club.

Borussia Dortmund’s official Twitter account confirmed the news which translates as “Neven Subotic was exempt from the training in order to conduct negotiations with a potential new club.”

German news outlet Kicker suggest the Bundesliga giants will accept offers of €10 million for the centre-back, who is on his way to England for a likely Premier League switch.

Jurgen Klopp has previously been linked with a reunion with his former player at Anfield but reports today suggest that Spurs and Arsenal are also interestd in the 27-year-old’s suitors.

Subotic was a key part of Klopp’s title winning side however the centre-back has fallen back since his departure and does not start under Thomas Tuchel.

With Mamadou Sakho awaiting the outcome of an impending UEFA hearing today, Subotic could fit in to the Liverpool squad.
