Mamadou Sakho is said to be ‘disgusted’ by his treatment at the hands of Jurgen Klopp as he eyes an end to his Liverpool career.
Sakho last featured for the Reds in April prior to a UEFA suspension for a positive drugs test which was subsequently overturned this summer.
He faces an ignominious final months at Anfield after falling out of favour with Klopp and has only made appearances for the club’s under-23 side this season.
Several clubs have expressed an interest in the defender but the only definitive offers have emerged from Premier League duo Stoke City and West Brom.
Both sides were turned down by Sakho last summer when he was asked to pursue a loan move in order to return to the Reds’ first-team in peak condition.
The Baggies recently revisited the possibility of signing the 26-year-old in January but reports in France claim that he is unwilling to consider the option.
Le Parisien also claim that the centre-back has turned down ‘serious’ proposals from two Turkish giants in Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
A return to his homeland appears increasingly unlikely with Lille not expected to match his current £90,000 per week salary on Merseyside.
Marseille were thought to be interested but Sakho is unlikely to join the fierce rivals of his home town club, and former employers, Paris Saint-Germain.
Serie A has emerged as a potential outlet with both Inter and AC Milan said to have contacted the Liverpool outcast’s representatives about a possible move.
