Ronald Koeman has reiterated that Oumar Niasse must pursue a career away from Everton ‘if he likes to play football’.
Niasse faces an increasingly bleak future at the Blues little more than six months since his £14.5 million arrival from Lokamotiv Moscow.
And Koeman today confirmed that the Senegal striker, 26, is among those considered persona non grata at Goodison Park.
He said: “We made a fast decision about Niasse, McGeady and about two or three more who will be difficult to be part of the team
“If Niasse likes to play football, he needs to leave Everton.”
Niasse made just five first-team appearances for Everton last season following his February move from Russia.
Along with McGeady, he was one of several first-team players to be stripped of his squad number this summer.
