Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is resigned to losing Yannick Bolasie to Everton.
A deal in the region of £25 million is set to be agreed between the two clubs to see the Congolese forward joining Ronald Koeman’s Blues revolution.
And following the Eagles’ opening Premier League defeat to West Brom, Pardew admitted that Bolasie is edging nearer to his Goodison Park switch.
He said: “It will be disappointing if he is going to move. The deal is close but he will go with our best wishes.
“I think it is fair to say his heart and soul is elsewhere. Yannick is all about heart and soul and if it is not with us then we have to say goodbye.
“But by the same token the deal is not done yet so we will wait and see.”
