Ronald Koeman has revealed Everton will be without Seamus Coleman for ‘several weeks’.
Coleman arrived at Goodison Park wearing a protective boot on his left foot ahead of the Blues’ opening day encounter with Tottenham.
And the Everton manager confirmed that the Republic of Ireland full-back will be miss the opening games of the club’s new campaign.
“We’re disappointed Romelu [Lukaku] can’t start today and Seamus will be out for several weeks,” said Koeman.
“It’s difficult because it means we have to change our plans, but it’s still 11 against 11.”
