Bradford and Bingley 37 Waterloo 37
Both teams may well have come away disappointed after this high scoring and entertaining game, but Waterloo can take some comfort from another improved performance and three points on the road, the first time that has happened for some time now.
The Bees scored early with a try for Cockell converted by Davidson, but Waterloo replied in great style with two lovely tries scored by James O'Brien and Ian Moran, both converted by Liam McGovern.
But the visitors came back with a converted try by Gemmell, but again great handling and running lines created chances to score and two tries resulted, from O'Brien again Liam Reeve, both converted by Liam McGovern.
There were plenty of chances to stretch the lead, but just before half time Bradford scored against the run of play with a try from Gough.
The second half started with Waterloo exerting more pressure and with the back row of Bell, Nolan and the returning Njike Tchakoute to the fore, pressure led to two further penalties converted by Liam McGovern.
However as the half went on Bradford's pack gained possession and good kicking put Waterloo under pressure and in a hectic last quarter despite a further Liam McGovern penalty, further tries from Gough and Wederup plus two penalties brought the scores level.
Both fly halves had the chance to win the game, but in the end the teams had to settle for a draw.
