BetFair experts give exclusive top tips ahead of the 2010 Grand National

The 164th annual Grand National meeting gets underway on Thursday 8th April 2010, and Click Liverpool have teamed up with the experts at BetFair to bring you our early tips for the big race.

The top-rated horse at this early stage is Madison du Berlais, who has been tipped as a possible favourite, but BetFair's horse-racing expert Simon Baker thinks a recent run of poor form could see him outclassed at Aintree against a strong field.

As always top jockey A P McCoy is sure to attract heavy backing from punters, but 14 Grand National outings without a win could indicate the national just isn't to be for the champion rider, who will be hoping for better luck this year on Tricky Trickster.

Former winners Mon Mome and Comply or Die may also be heavily fancied to repeat their performance in the big race, but BetFair's expert was quick to remind racegoers that the feat hasn't been achieved since Red Rum, despite the good form of both horses.
