England face Croatia at Wembley tonight on the brink of qualifying for the World Cup Finals, and manager Fabio Capello will be keen to book his team's place in style.
The Three Lions have enjoyed a storming campaign in Group 6, grabbing an impressive maximum points in seven outings to sit at the top of the table going into tonight's tie.
However the home side will be well aware of the threat which Croatia pose, and John Terry and co will recall the infamous 3-2 defeat to Slaven Billic's side in 2007 which ended all hopes of qualification for Euro 2008.
Capello may also be hoping to score a personal victory over the Croation manager, after the former Everton player accused the England boss of "destroying the spirit" of the English national side.
Selection headaches:
England will benefit from a fully-fit squad of players for tonights clash, boosted by their win over Slovenia on Saturday.
Robert Green is expected to retain his place in goal, supported in defence by Liverpool's Glen Johnson who Capello has hailed this week as "one of the world's best".
John Terry, Matthew Upson, and Ashley Cole look assured to complete the back-line, although Man City's Joleon Lescott will doubtless be keen to force his way in and may challenge Upson for his place.
Similar competition for places in Midfield mean Aaron Lennon, Shaun Wright-Phillips and David Beckham will all be competing for the right-wing spot, while Gerrard, Lampard and Gareth Barry seem likely to complete the line-up.
Capello has been open about his offensive dilemma, and claims he has now finalised his decision on who will partner Wayne Rooney in attack.
However, the Italian has opted to keep his decision under wraps as to whether in-form Tottenham man Jermaine Defoe will get the nod over the experienced Emile Heskey.
Probably starting line up:
Green, Johnson, Terry, Upson, Cole, Wright-Phillips, Gerrard, Lampard, Barry, Rooney, Heskey
England go into tonight's match at Wembley as favourites to take three points and book their place in South Africa. For the best deal head to Paddy Power, where a 2-0 England Win is 7/1
