It's race 12 of the Formula One championship, in what looks to be one of the tightest seasons in living memory, and Belgium could prove to be the lynch-pin.

Motorsport guru Murray Walker, the voice of Formula One, said; "This is the race above any other that I look forward to every season.

"Put simply, the circuit is without doubt the finest in the world and represents one of the most unpredictable and exciting races year in, year out."

With Brawn having been reeled in by the pack, Formula One looks closer than ever with the rejuvenated world champion Lewis Hamilton 3/1 favourite to win the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend.

Bookmakers Paddy Power have the British driver a fraction ahead of Red Bull racers Webber and Vettel at 10/3 despite their recent reliability problems, with Championship leader Jenson Button following at 8/1.

With Hamilton’s McLaren car once again competitive Paddy Power are also betting on who will be the best Brit in the race making Lewis the 1/2 favourite to beat Jenson – with Button 6/4. But Brawn, who won last week’s European Grand Prix in Valencia, are 4/1 to take the chequered flag in Belgium on Sunday with Jenson Button 16/1 for the hat-trick of the race win, fastest lap and pole position.
