Sporting Lisbon have announced the loan signing of Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo for the 2009/10 season.
The Portuguese outfit revealed the news on Twitter and claim that the one-year deal will be signed after a standard medical has been undertaken by the Ecuador international.
A statement read: “Sporting Clube de Portugal hereby announces that a pre-agreement has been reached with Manchester City Football Club for the loan of the player Felipe Caicedo for one season. The definitive agreement depends on the undertaking of medical tests.”
