Free tickets on offer to for Everton Ladies' derby clash

Everton Football Club are offering young fans free tickets to the Women's Merseyside Derby in conjunction with a new FA initiative.

The Continental Shot Stopper's roadshow comes to Liverpool this Wednesday when any 8-16 year-olds in attendence attend will receive a free ticket to watch Everton Ladies take on Liverpool Ladies on Wednesday evening.

The youngsters will get to take part in a series of games and competitions and also get to meet Everton and England goalkeeper, Rachel Brown and defender Alex Greenwood.

The roadshow has travelled nationwide as Continental and the FA look to develop the next generation of Tim Howard's and Pepe Reina's.

Youngsters will be put through their paces by a number of top coaches, with interactive activities to improve their speed, reactions, accuracy and reflexes.

The coaching session takes place at Goals Soccer Centre, Park Lane, Netherton, from 2.30pm on Wednesday 27 July.

Those who attend look set to see an exciting game. Everton are fighting things out at the top of the Women's Super League table, while Liverpool, who are languishing at the foot of the table, will be looking to get their first win.

The match kicks off at 7pm at Marine FC in Crosby. Everton are offering cheap tickets for any fans that come along, with tickets priced at £3 for adults and £1 for juniors (under 16s).
