Liverpool region boxer Tony Dodson has been handed a tricky opening opponent in Michael Banbula, in the draw for the Prizefighter quarter-final.
Made by special guest Nathan Cleverly it sees the winner facing either Joe Smyth or Menay Edwards in the semis.
Banbula is currently in the form of his life, and is unbeaten in his last five fights.
But former Super-Middleweight champion Dodson remains unfazed, despite the Pole almost causing an upset against Olympic bronze medallist Tony Jeffries in July.
He said: "People believe Michael Banbula may give me something to think about.
“But the reality is he's a journeyman, who has made his name by getting a draw with Jeffries.”
The other fights see Billy Slate and Jack Morris square up for the right to fight Llewellyn Davies or Travis Dickinson for a place in the final on Saturday 29th January at Kensington Olympia in London/
