Echo Arena, Liverpool

Mersey Tigers 96 (Toney 24, Thomson 21, Sullivan 20)
Plymouth Raiders 85 (Rowe 20, Zabas 19, Cricelli 14)

The Tigers entered their fourth game of the season placed fourth in the BBL Championship, and made it three wins from four with a comfortable 96-85 victory over Plymouth Raiders.

The Tigers surged into a commanding 34-15 lead in the first quarter and extended their lead to 24 points by half-time with the score at 58-34.

Inspired by an impressive all-round performance and 20 points from Drew Sullivan, captain of Team GB, the Tigers threatened a three-figure rout when the third quarter ended 83-54.

However, a late rally by the Raiders saw then score 31 points in the final quarter for only 13 in return which pegged the final scoreline back to 96-85.

A comfortable win for the Tigers which pushed them into third place in the BBL Championship.
