Bodytorque gym is an institute of physical performance.
The gym is the brain child of two men, Chris Tomlinson and Ashley Hughes.
Chris Tomlinson - Entered the Royal Marines to be a Engineer but due to a injured knee during the training process he went down a different career path, he was a life guard in a council gym and then was the duty manager at a Liverpool City Centre student gym, Momentum.
Now he is his own boss living the dream.
Ashley Hughes - Background in mixed martial arts from the age of 4 years of old working upto a purple belt in Judo, he also has trained in boxing.
Ashley mentioned he had always had a dream about owning his own gym, so he took that big chance, fair play.
Bodytorque sponsor Mick Gerrard who is due to challenge for a AFC title and Danny Houghton who is a K1 Enland champion and north west champion at 72kg.
Bodytorque provide all aspects of physical fitness aswell as classes such as Boxercise, Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, Circuit Training and Strength and Conditioning.
Bodytorque also provides weight management, injury management, pre-uniform training, corporate solutions and strongman training.
There is a fully equipped cardio area, weight lifting area, matted area and strongman area.
All in all Chris and Ashley's facility provides everythign you need.
If you're a fighter who trains at Sapphires which is next door to Bodytorque, you can get discount.
They charge £5 per class unless you are a member and they charge £3.50.
During the summer Chris and Ashley hope to run many Bootcamps across Merseyside, St Helens, Whiston, Huyton, Kirby and Liverpool city centre.
Strongman events will also be held in the summer offering cash prizes.
