Emiliano Insua has left Liverpool's pre-season training camp to discuss personal terms with Fiorentina.
The 21-year-old was not included in the squad that was due to face Al-Halil in tonight's pre-season friendly but adverse weather conditions made the pitch at the Cashpoint-Arena in Austria unplayable and the match was postponed.
Liverpool have now confirmed that they have reached an agreement, believed to be £5million, for the Argentina international who has now left the complex in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland to meet with La Viola officials.
A club spokesman said: "We have agreed a fee for the sale of Emiliano Insua to Fiorentina and given them permission to speak with the player.
"Emiliano has now left our Swiss training camp and we'll make further comment when appropriate."
