Liverpool have agreed to allow defensive duo Stephen Darby and David Martin to spend loan spells with Swindon Town and Derby County respectively.

Former MK Dons goalkeeper Martin, 24, will link up with Anfield old boy Nigel Clough for a month and is expected to make his debut for the Rams' in their Championship visit to Doncaster tomorrow, whilst defender Darby will be with the League One Robins until the end of the current campaign.

The right-back, 21, has struggled to stake a claim in Rafael Benitez's side with only three appearances for the Reds this season despite injury ruling Glen Johnson out for three months.
