Bayern Munich have rubbished reports that they will make a move for out-of-favour Liverpool winger Ryan Babel in the January transfer window.
Reports at the weekend suggested that the former Ajax star is hoping for a swift exit from Merseyside after launching a scathing attack on manager Rafael Benitez and his Anfield team mates in a Dutch sports magazine on the eve of their Champions League clash with Debrecen VSC.
The Bundesliga outfit have become the latest club to be linked with the much maligned 22-year-old however Bayern's sporting director Christian Nerlinger insists that there is no truth in the rumour and that Babel will not be gracing the Allianz Arena as a Die Roten player.
He said: "I don't know anything about it and so you can take it for granted that there is no truth in it."
