Liverpool have confirmed that they have handed upcoming defender Daniel Ayala a new three-year deal.
The Spaniard has made three appearances for the first team this season and was handed his full debut against Stoke City in August following an impressive cameo against Tottenham Hotspur days earlier.
Kop boss Rafael Benitez has handed Ayala, 19, a new contract to keep him at Anfield until the summer of 2012.
The youngster, who is a regular in the Reds' reserve team, arrived on Merseyside in 2007 from La Liga outfit Sevilla and is hotly tipped by coaches at Melwood to make the grade in the senior squad.
