Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has paid tribute to Sir Bobby Robson who died this morning after a 17-year battle with cancer.
The Reds boss took time out of the club's pre-season schedule to talk about the former England manager who guided Barcelona to a glittering array of trophies in Benitez's homeland.
"The death of Sir Bobby is a sad loss to football," said Benitez.
His record in many different countries was testament to his talents as an outstanding manager and he clearly never lost his tremendous passion and enthusiasm for the game.
"He will be sorely missed by all of us."
