Jurgen Klopp has become the second manager today to turn down Liverpool.

The 44-year-old guided Borussia Dortmund to the Bundesliga as part of a double-winning success and had been linked with the role as Kenny Dalglish's successor in the Reds' dugout.

Owners Fenway Sports Group are approaching several candidates for the role but were rebuffed earlier today by Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers who declined an opportunity for interview.

Klopp has followed suit by ruling himself out of the running, insisting he does not wish to leave the Westfalenstadion as Dortmund prepare to defend their status as German champions next season.

He said: "I have been made aware of interest from England, and it is an honour to be linked with big clubs in the Premier League.

"But I have a contract with Dortmund until 2016 and am going nowhere.

"I love it here and have no intention of changing clubs."
