Kenny Dalglish has paid tribute to the various factions who have made his first year back at Liverpool 'fantastic'.
The 60-year-old will celebrate a full 12 months back in the Anfield on Sunday and marked the occasion in style with tonight's 5-1 win over Oldham Athletic in the FA Cup.
Reflecting on his return to the dugout, the Kop boss has paid tribute to the work undertaken by several members of his backroom staff over the course of the year.
During his glowing testimony, Dalglish has paid tribute to coaches Steve Clarke and Kevin Keen, former assistant Sammy Lee, director of football Damien Comolli and the club's owners.
He said: "It's been fantastic for me. Obviously people can judge for themselves if there's been any progress made or otherwise.
"But it would be remiss and wrong of me to not go on record and show my appreciation for the work that Stevie Clarke's done and, since July, Kevin Keen and before that wee Sammy [Lee]. They were really helpful to us.
"Damien [Comolli] has done a fantastic job in the background and around the administrative part of things in organising players for us to have a look at and see if they're any good.
"The owners have been fantastic. I think that I'm fortunate to be here and I've really enjoyed the first year."
