Liverpool target Gaston Ramirez will not be moving clubs in January, his agent has claimed.
The Uruguayan was expected to move to the North West when the transfer window re-opens in a few days' time, with Manchester United set to fight the Reds for the highly-rated winger.
With four goals in 14 appearances for Bolognia this season Ramirez has become one of Europe's hottest property, enjoying a similar success to compatriot Luis Suarez at Anfield.
But agent Vincenzo D'Ippolito insists that the 21-year-old will remain with the Serie A club, where he recently penned a contract extension tying him down until 2016.
"There is nothing to say about Ramirez," D'Ippolito told Calciomercato.com.
"He's only just extended his contract. He won't be leaving Bologna."
The deal, however, does include a buyout clause which can be activated as early as next month, which Liverpool and other clubs may consider exercising next month.
