Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has admitted that he is still open to a possible ground share with Liverpool following Kenny Dalglish's comments at the weekend.
Anfield legend Dalglish reignited the debate over a shared stadium to host Merseyside's two famous clubs, claiming that both parties should "look at every possibility" before deciding on building separate homes.
George Gillett and Tom Hicks, Liverpool's current owners, have previously ruled out any suggestions of sharing with their local rivals as they remain committed to building a new home for the Reds in Stanley Park, despite the project being hampered by financial setbacks.
Kenwright believes that Dalglish's comments indicate a slight change in attitudes from the red half of the city and is willing to discuss the possibility of both clubs being housed under one roof if Liverpool were prepared to enter into negotiations.
He said: "In the past Liverpool have always been opposed so I am intrigued about what Kenny Dalglish has had to say about ground sharing.
"It is more than likely we would sit down and have a decent discussion about ground sharing in Stanley Park with Liverpool."
