FC Rabotnicki will face a UEFA probe after their supporters were involved made racist taunts towards two Liverpool players last night.
Pictures have emerged of home supporters making monkey gestures to David Ngog and David Amoo - two of the Reds black players - during the Europa League third round qualifying clash in Skopje's Philip II Stadium.
France international Ngog netted both goals in Roy Hodgson's first game as Liverpool manager but was subjected to intense racial abuse along with 18-year-old team mate Amoo, which will now be investigated by European football's governing body.
UEFA are aware of the incident but will await the report of referee Antonio Damato, who was charged with officiating last night's game, and their designated observer before they press ahead with any disciplinary proceedings.
A spokesman said: "We are aware of the matter but we are waiting for the reports from the delegate and the referee."
The Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM) are no strangers to race-related disciplinary action and were the subject of a similar prob when Emile Heskey, Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole were subjected to similar taunts in the same stadium when playing for England in 2003.
An English flag was also burned during the game between the two countries, which led to the FFM being served with a fine of £10,730.
