Morgan Schneiderlin is reportedly on the verge of securing a move to Everton.
The midfielder has been the subject of interest from former Southampton boss Ronald Koeman but the Blues have failed to agree a deal with Manchester United.
A £19 million bid was rejected by the Old Trafford club as they aim to recoup close to their original £24M outlay on Schneiderlin just 18 months ago.
But the France international is now understood to be just hours away from a move to Everton and is travelling to the club’s Finch Farm training ground.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Koeman is set to be reunited with his former player after his side edged ahead of fellow suitors West Brom.
Tony Pulis saw a club-record £18 million bid for Schneiderlin turned down by the Red Devils, who are yet to agree a final transfer fee with Everton.
Last month Schneiderlin asked Jose Mourinho to allow him to leave Old Trafford after failing to start any of the club’s Premier League games this season.
