Everton have completed the £4.5million recapture of midfielder Steven Pienaar.
Negotiations between the Blues and Tottenham for the 30-year-old concluded last week, with the South Africa international agreeing personal terms earlier today at Finch Farm.
Pienaar left Goodison Park in January 2011 but found himself returning to Merseyside just 12 months later in an initial loan deal, which coincided with Everton finishing last season strongly.
And he has spoken of his delight at securing a permanent move back to his spiritual home.
He said: "I am happy to be here. It took a few weeks to sort out but I am delighted to be back and excited to play for Everton.
"There was no doubt in my mind that I would be back here.
"At the end of the season I told the manager how I felt and I am happy now it is all done."
