Joseph Yobo remains hopeful that he can secure a permanent move to Fenerbahce.
The Everton defender has spent the previous two seasons on loan with the Turkish club and ended both campaigns with silverware, in the 2011 Super Lig and the Turkish Cup last term.
And with his first-team prospects at Goodison Park appearing increasingly distant, Yobo, 31, has expressed his desire to bring his seven-year stay in the Premier League to an end.
He said: “Moving to Fenerbahce was the best thing in my career,” said Yobo.
“I joined them because I was eager to win silverware. The 2011 Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup justified that. I hope my permanent move to Fenerbahce is concluded soon.
“The Turkish league is more technical than the Premier League. The Premier League is more physical and most popular in the world, but after playing for seven years in England,
"I think the Turkish league is of a better quality.”
