The Nigeria international shows no signs of being recalled back into the fold at Goodison Park despite impressing during a two season-long loan with Turkish outfit Fenerbahce
Yobo helped Fenerbahce lift the Super Lig in 2011 whle last term saw them win the Turkish Cup although the club lost their domestic crown by finishing runners up to local rivals Galatasaray,
The 30-year-old, who was David Moyes' first signing following his appointment as Blues boss, now admits that he hopes to seal his future shortly and has spoken glowingly of his spell in Turkey.
He said: “My career has always been on the rise. I’ve been on loan to Fener where I won the cup.
"Fener are a big club with big ambition and I’m happy to have played for them.
"My future will be settled soon.”
