Everton FC fans made their voices heard as they held a peaceful pre-match demonstration outside Goodison Park on Saturday.

Supporters gathered before the game against Aston Villa to protest against the club's owners.

Brandishing banners that questioned the board's standards, fans also gave public backing to manager David Moyes.

One poster attacked businessman Sir Philip Green, who is heavily involved in the club.

It read: "Philip Green is no friend of ours."

The match itself ended 2-2 after Stiliyan Petrov and Gabriel Agbonlahor cancelled out Leon Osman's opener and a Leighton Baines penalty.
