David Moyes has issued a rallying cry to the Everton faithful ahead of the Blues' home clash against Aston Villa.
The second home date of the season for the Toffees will begin with a protest march by disgruntled Evertonians lobbying for changes in the club at boardroom level.
But Moyes, who is looking to put back to back wins together after their last gasp win at Blackburn before the international break, said his players focus will be on the pitch and urged the fans, once in the ground, to put on an especially ferocious vocal show which he believes the team badly needs.
He said: "I thought when the transfer window shut all this would stop.
"We're aware of it but it's not changing our focus on how we're going to play, how the preparation goes or what we're going to do on the pitch.
"I think anybody who walks into the ground at Goodison on Saturday is 100% is there support the team and the club.
"So get in that ground and make sure you're right behind the boys, because we need it at the moment. We've got a few new players around and it'll be good for them to see what the Everton supporters can do."
Moyes assured fans that he shared their frustration at the club not being able to secure much needed investment over the summer, forcing another transfer window of bargain hunt.
And, as he has done in the past, Moyes also defended his chairman Bill Kenwright asking for unity now that the club appears to have its "back against the wall."
He said: "I think that people would like to see some more finances, but so would I and so would the Chairman, it's not for the lack of trying.
"Maybe tomorrow the supporters will be even more vocal to help us, because we do need that.
"I think we were a bit quiet against QPR and probably the expectations made everybody a bit low so maybe now once our backs are to the wall everyone will get behind us and start supporting."
