David Moyes promised early movement in the summer of comings and goings at Goodison Park, and that appears to be the case with the club announcing three departures this week.
Goalkeeper Iain Turner has been let go by the club after another season as third choice at Everton.
The 27-year-old Scot, who was highly thought of as a youngster, spent another season on loan at Preston this year, his eighth temporary club in a nine year spell at the Blues.
Following Turner are youngsters Hope Akpan and Kieran Agard who have not been offered new contracts despite being regulars in the reserve side last year.
Agard, who finished the season on loan at Kilmarnock, departs the club with six senior appearances to his name, one of those being a Premier League substitute appearance against Chelsea.
Akpan, who had a loan spell with Hull, appeared just once for the seniors in a Europa League tie against BATE Borisov.
