Steven Pienaar is looking is hoping lady luck will smile on Everton as they attempt to get their season back on track with a win against Manchester United.
The South African, who rattled the bar in Everton's best attempt on goal at Aston Villa last week, said his team have played well in their opening games, but just need to the rub of the green for the points to come rolling in.
He said: "The team is playing well, we cant complain about that, you need luck sometimes in football so we just have to keep going.
"The last two games I don't think we've played badly, we've just been unfortunate to not take full points, but that's football sometimes you play well and you don't win the games."
Pienaar said that there would be no better match to kick-start a successful season than Saturday's fixture after last season's result, which still lives in the memory of the tricky winger.
Pienaar said: "last time we played them at Goodison the atmosphere was amazing.
"It will be tough, but I hope we can repeat that last result against them."
