As the final day transfer rumours roll in Everton are being linked with Brazillian striker Grafite.
The 31-year-old striker faces stiff competition for a place at Wolfsburg with the German side bolstering their strike force in the summer.
Moyes, who has a track record of buying at the last minute, may look to add to his goal-getters with Louis Saha having an indifferent start to the season and Jermaine Beckford still adapting to Premier League football.
Grafite would be an uncharacteristically old buy for Moyes, who turned his nose up at Landon Donovan's price tag earlier in the year, largely due to the American's age at 28.
But with almost 80 appearances for the Bundesliga side and four international caps to his name, Grafite could add to Louis Saha striking experience at Goodison.
The Brazilian claimed the prestigious Torjägerkanone, Germany's leading goalscorer trophy, in the 2008-09 when he helped Wolfsburg to a Bundesliga title with 28 goals.
