The Everton marksman is part of a new-look squad that contains just nine players who featured for France in South Africa.
Saha has enjoyed an indifferent start to the season with Everton, having been dropped for their second game at home to Wolves.
But Blanc obviously recognises the quality of 'King' Louis, who scored against Huddersfield Town last night with his first touch.
Saha, whose last international cap came in 2006, is the most experienced forward in the attacking group of Loic Remy, Karim Benzema, Kevin Gameiro, Guillaume Hoarau and Loic Remy.
