
Two baby sisters were left seriously ill in hospital after a fox attacked them in their own home.
According to police, the twins who are nine months old, were in a "serious but stable" condition.
Officers and paramedics were called to a house in Homerton, London, after reports the pair were attacked while sleeping in their cots.
Reportedly suffering arm wounds the twins were taken to the Royal London Hospital.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
“We were called to reports of a fox attack. Officers and the ambulance found two girls with injuries.”
