
Coleen Rooney is about to give birth to her first child, unofficial sources at the Liverpool Women's Hospital have confirmed.
Manchester United and England star Wayne Rooney, 24, is said to be at his wife's bedside in a delivery room at the specialist NHS hospital where she decided to have the baby.
Wayne, 24, and Coleen, 23, are reported to have arrived at the hospital in Upper Parliament Street after 10pm on Sunday night.
Coleen remained at the hospital overnight and Wayne was said to have grabbed a few hours sleep in a nearby fathers' room.
This morning Coleen's mother Colette McLoughlin and her brother Joe arrived at the hospital, to be on hand and offer support.
Coleen, who was said to be a week over on her "due date" when she arrived at the hospital and there were suggestions that doctors has decided to induce the birth.
An unofficial source at the Liverpool Women's Hospital said: "Coleen was a week overdue and like every mother she must have been getting impatient to have the baby.
"The buzz in the hospital is that Coleen has gone into the delivery room."
