Ed Miliband has put on a family show ahead of one of the biggest weekends in his political calendar, the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool.
The leader of the opposition arrived at the venue of his party's annual meeting with his wife Justine, and their sons Daniel, aged two, and ten-month-old Sam.
He posed happily for cameras on his way into the arena, where, over the coming week, he will set out his ambitions for the Labour Party in the next year.
Completing the family affair is David Miliband who is expected to greet the national Labour gathering a year after he was beaten by Ed in the party's leadership election.
The relationship between the brothers was said to have been strained during that period and impressive TV performances by David since have led to one opinion poll among Labour voters indicating that members of the party feel they chose the wrong sibling in Ed.
Despite the ongoing comparisons which the youngest Miliband had "bruised"their relationship, Ed has said he is happy to have David at the conference and addressing the Labout faithful.
