Wayne Rooney might have been breaking league winning records this weekend, but his brother-in-law Anthony McLoughlin was busy in setting a WORLD record of his own!

The younger brother of Coleen Rooney was part of a group of fourteen footballers who played in the world's longest ever five-a-side football match.

Two sides, the reds and blues, played for 41 consecutive hours in a specially built football pitch in Liverpool city centre, smashing the previous record which was set in Newcastle.

The attempt , which kicked off at 6am on Sunday morning, was supported by footballing stars city with Everton's Mikel Arteta and Liverpool youngster John Flanagan both cheering the sides on.
