Staff at The Dogs Trust have put out a Mother's Day appeal for help in finding a home for a canine mother and son.
The mum concerned is "Snoop" who is a devoted parent, looking for new owners along with her handsome son, Bryn.
Snoop (left) is a 13year old Collie type that came into Dogs Trust’s Merseyside Rehoming Centre with her son, six year old son Bryn (right) when their owners became unable to care for them.
Dogs Trust Merseyside Rehoming Centre Manager, Georgina Lowrey, explains: “Snoop has been a wonderful mum to Bryn for six years and it soon became clear that separating the pair wasn’t an option as they are very much attached.
"Rehoming two dogs means double the responsibility, but double reward. They are looking for an active household that can ensure the twosome get plenty of exercise as they do enjoy a rough and tumble.
“Snoop and Bryn are lively and affectionate; they can live with older children, other dogs and would even be happy to share a home with feline companions!”
If you think you could give a new home to Snoop and Bryn or any of their canine companions at Dogs Trust Merseyside please call 0151 480 0660.
Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity. Every year we care for around 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs at our nationwide network of 17 rehoming centres.
The Dogs Trust pledge is that it never puts a healthy dog to sleep. For more information about the charity’s work please visit www.dogstrust.org.uk
