The mother of murdered toddler James Bulger has said that his killer Jon Venables is "back where he belongs" after he was jailed for breaching his parole.
Reacting to news of the child killer's re-arrest, Denise Fergus spoke via Twitter saying: "Would like to let everyone know Jon Venables is where he belongs tonight behind bars."
The mother-of-three also questioned: "Is this my son's justice?"
The Ministry of Justice has confirmed that Venables, 27, had been recalled to custody for breaching his parole. It is not yet known what that breach was.
Venables and his accomplice Robert Thompson became Britain's youngest convicted murderers when they were found guilty of killing two-year-old James at Preston Crown Court in November 1993.
The pair were just 10 when they abducted the toddler from a shopping centre in Bootle. They marched him to a lonely railway line where they tortured and murdered him in February 1993.
Following their trial, an injunction was imposed preventing their new identities and locations from being made public.
It is not clear whether his identity would be revealed if he appears before a court again.
