
Miss England has become the first person to ride Liverpool's big wheel, after it was rebuilt at the Albert Dock.
Brave beauty Katrina Hodge, 22, was quick to volunteer her services and try out the tourist attraction, which is next to the Echo Arena overlooking the River Mersey.
The army lance corporal, who is on leave from serving in Iraq, was on Merseyside to promote tonight's £113 million jackpot Euromillions draw.
And the so-called 'Combat Barbie' looked fabulous wearing a dress made solely from lottery balls and tickets.
She said: "It just goes to show how one stroke of luck can change your life and make your wildest dreams a reality. I just hope the luck continues to roll in 2010."
The stunning fighter received a commendation for bravery after disarming an Iraqi prisoner in 2005. The man had escaped when Hodge's car was in a collision in Basra.
Hodge was awarded the Miss England 2009 title after original winner Rachel Christie stepped down following an alleged nightclub fight.
