Police are seeking to speak to a man in connection to the death of a woman, whose body was found at a house in Runcorn.

Police discovered the body at a property in Partington Square, Daresbury at around 9pm last night.

The 25-year-old woman had been reported missing by her family earlier that day, and police had attended the couple's home following a call expressing concern.

A man was arrested in connection with the discovery but later released without charge.

The woman's death is being treated as suspicious, and a post mortem is being carried out today to determine the cause of death.

Runcorn Police have launched a murder enquiry, led by the Constabulary's Major Investigation Team.

As part of ongoing investigations, police would like to speak to Michael Roberts.

Michael is described as white, 26 years of age, 6' 2" tall, with black spikey hair, and black eyebrows.

"You can contact any police station and speak with any police officer, or directly contact myself and my team on 0845 458 0000. It is important that we speak with you."

Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have any information which could assist the ongoing murder investigation.
